Admin Dashboard

API (Application Programming Interface)
A system that allows 2Way to connect with the client’s external member database for automatic syncing of member information.

Configurations related to app content and version details.

Attribute
A field such as date, name, or phone number associated with a member’s profile.

Attribute Type
The data type of an attribute, such as date, text, or number.

Base
The working or home base of a member.

Board
The governing body of a union or group.

Bulk Actions
Tools in the Admin Dashboard that allow performing actions on multiple items simultaneously, such as updating the visibility of members or deleting multiple documents.

Committee
A subgroup within a union or group, which can be general (representing all groups) or special (focusing on specific matters).

Current Issue
A topic highlighted by the union admin to draw members’ attention, which can be a report type, report group, or other content available in the app.

Display in App
A toggle setting that determines whether specific content (e.g., documents, news, or member profiles) is visible to members in the app.

Encryption
A security measure used to protect sensitive data, such as member information and communications, within the 2Way system.

Equipment
The type of aircraft that a member operates within their airline.

Favorites
A feature that allows members to mark content (e.g., documents or news articles) for quick access or as a reminder.

Firebase
A backend platform used to log app data, track events, and monitor user interactions.

Groups
Collections of members segmented for specific purposes, such as assigning permissions, restricting content visibility, or managing access to certain modules.

Journal
Content generated by the board or committees and made available to members; also referred to as “Content Grouped.”

Journal Group
Categories that organize journals (content) to clarify their source.

Knowledge Base (KB)
A centralized repository of articles and guides for clients to learn how to use the 2Way system effectively.

Labels
Identifiers in the activity feed that indicate the module from which the content originates; also used to show different sources for content in the “Content Grouped” module.

Logs
Records of system activities, including member data changes, content updates, and user interactions, accessible in the Admin Dashboard for review.

Member
A verified user of the 2Way app who interacts with its content and features.

MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)
An authentication method that requires multiple verification factors to enhance account security.

Moderator
A user role that the backend system administrator can create, assigning different modules and airline groups for the moderator to manage.

Modules
Standalone components or features within the 2Way system, such as Surveys, Reports, and Documents, which can be enabled or disabled based on the client’s preferences.

Notification
Push notifications sent to users to inform them about updates or important information.

Offline Content
Content available to members in the app without an internet connection, excluding modules like Surveys.

Push Notification
Messages sent to the user’s device to alert them about new content or updates.

Rank
The position or title assigned to a user, such as Captain or First Officer.

Report
Submissions made by members in the app to report issues or concerns, which are reviewed and managed by admins or moderators.

Report Group
Categories that organize report types of a similar kind.

Report Type
A report form containing applicable fields on a certain issue, ready for the user to fill out and submit.

Rich Text Editor (RTE)
A content editor in the Admin Dashboard used for formatting text and adding multimedia to news articles and other content.

Session Protection
A security feature ensuring that active sessions in the Admin Dashboard are authenticated and protected from unauthorized access.

Settings
General configurations for the app, set by the backend administrator or moderators.

Staff
Members of the union’s personnel.

Surveys
A module that allows clients to create surveys for members to complete, with results aggregated for analysis.

Sync Status
Indicates whether a member’s profile is updated via API sync with the client’s member base system or manually within the Admin Dashboard.

Tags
Labels used to categorize or organize content, such as reviews or documents, making it easier to filter and search.

Target Group
The abbreviated code representing group to which a member belongs.

Toolbar
The interface element in the Admin Dashboard or RTE containing actionable icons and shortcuts for editing and managing content.

UGC (User-Generated Content)
Content generated by members, such as comments, likes, or forum posts, including mechanisms for members to provide feedback or start discussions.

White-Label Platform
A customizable platform branded for each client, while the core 2Way product remains consistent and maintained across all clients.

XLS Import/Export
The process of uploading or downloading member data or logs in Excel spreadsheet format, used for bulk data management.
