While using the backend system, use the General module for some basic settings about the backend, and for the app users' experience.
In this article, you can see details on:
- Enable and disable modules and their labels
- Edit the modules' labels
- Reorder the sequence of modules in the sidebar
Click on General in the sidebar.
The navigation expands.
Click on Modules and Labels. The list of all modules appears.
Enable or disable a module
You can enable or disable a module, as required. Locate the target module in the list.
Disable a module
In Action, click on Disable module. This module is not available in the sidebar after you disable it.
Note: Two modules—Activity Feeds and App Info are the two default modules that are always visible in the account, you cannot see an option to disable these two modules.
Enable a module
Locate the target disabled module in the list. In Action, click on Enable module to enable it.
Modify a module
You can change the label name of any module.
In the list, locate the target module whose name you want to change. In Action, click on Modify labels.
Change the labels in either one or both the languages.
Save: Click on Save to save the module label changes.
Update the sequence of modules in the list
In the list, you can drag and drop the modules up and down anywhere in the list.
By default, the modules show a number which tells about their order in the list. When you move a module, the number also moves with the module.
For example, the Activity Feeds is moved from the top of the list to immediately below the News.
Click on Save Sequence to save this new sequence. Now, the numbers reset to show the modules for their new sequence number.
