1.  Overview

When adding content to News, Journals, or Events, and the Document is not already available in the Document library, use the Add Document button to upload a new PDF directly. This allows quick document uploads without switching to the Document module.

2.  Uploading a New Document

  1. In the content creation form (News, Journals, Events), scroll to the Documents section.
  2. Click Add Document to open the Add New Document popup.
  3. Click Upload Document and select a PDF file from your computer.
    • Max file size: 30MB.
  4. Fill out the required fields:
    • Document Title – The PDF name is automatically added here but can be edited. The original PDF file name won't be affected and will still be shown in the app under the (i) button.
    • Choose Yes for Show in the Document Module if the document should also be added to the Document Library. 
    • Document Group – Select the group where this document will be stored. (It will stored in the "Hidden" folder if NO was selected for Show in Document Module.)
    • Select Target Groups – Choose the target member or internal groups.
    • Date – Select the document’s date.
    • Enable Sharing – Choose Yes to allow the document to be shared by users within the app via the device share feature.
    • Add PDF Notes if needed. It is shown in the app under the (i) button.
  5. Click Save to upload the document.
  6. The document will automatically attach to the content being created or edited.

 

Finalizing Content
  1. After uploading, continue filling out the remaining content fields (title, banner image, etc.).
  2. Click Save to finalize the content.

 

FAQ

Q: Can I upload other file types besides PDF?
A: No, only PDF files are supported.

Q: What happens if the file exceeds 30MB?
A: The upload will fail. Compress or reduce the file size before you try again.

Q: Will the document always appear in the Document module?
A: Only if Show in Document Module is set to Yes during upload.
