Overview

When accessing the Current Issues page, you will see a table listing all current issues along with several key tools at the top:

  • Search: Find specific issues using keywords.
  • Clear Filters: Reset any applied filters.
  • Add: Create a new current issue.
  • Help (?): Opens this Knowledge Base article for guidance.

 

 

Sections include:

  1. Viewing Current Issues: How to access and manage the list of pinned issues.
  2. Adding or Editing a Current Issue: Steps to create or modify a current issue.
  3. Managing Current Issues: Actions such as editing, activating, or deleting pinned content.

 

 

1. Viewing Current Issues

The table shows all current issues with the following headers and actions. Filter for Group codes can be applied.

  • Title: The name of the issue.
  • Content: A brief description of the content (e.g., March issue, Fatigue report).
  • Content Type: Specifies whether it’s a News, Journal, Event or Report Type/Group.
  • Group Code: Indicates which groups the issue is visible to.
  • Status: Whether the issue is Active or Inactive.
  • Action: Click the three dots (•••) for options to Set Active, Edit, or Delete the issue.

 

 

2. Adding or Editing a Current Issue

To create or modify a Current Issue, follow these steps:

  1. Title: Enter the title of the issue.
  2. Target Groups: Select the groups you want this issue to be visible to.
  3. Content Type: Choose the type of content (e.g., Newsletter, Report).
  4. Content: Select the specific content to pin.
  5. Description: Add a description, which will appear in the app below the title.
  6. Expiry Date and Time: Set when the issue should automatically be made inactive and removed from the app.

After completing these steps, click Submit to finalize and make the issue active and visible at the top of the activity feed. The Cancel button discards any changes.

 

 

3. Managing Current Issues

You can manage existing issues directly from the Current Issues list in two ways:

  1. Via the Action Menu (•••):

    • Set Active/Inactive: Change the visibility of the issue.
    • Edit: Modify details.
    • Delete: Remove the issue.
  2. Clicking on the Issue:
    Clicking on an issue opens a detailed preview where you can view all details and access the same Action tools at the top (Set Inactive, Edit, Delete).
